Biggest slide from 2004

Here are the 10 who dropped the most. Though an ominous category, it helps to think that even the biggest slider didn't drop nearly as far as over half the jumpers rose:

  2005    2004    Spread    Performer
  103    12    -91    Martin Spanjers
  103    13    -90    Zac Efron
  115    45    -70    Jimmy "Jax" Pinchak
  115    58    -57    Bobby Edner
  63    9    -54    Cameron Bright
  85    36    -49    Anton Yelchin
  115    72    -43    Nick Benson
  46    4    -42    Jake Thomas
  72    30    -42    John Patrick Amedori
  85    43    -42    Ryan Pinkston

CURIOSITY: 4 of these 10 (Spanjers, Efron, Benson, Pinkston) were on series that were cancelled in 2005.

Sean Berdy (63rd place, 5 points, 1 mention)
Taylor Boggan (63rd place, 5 points, 1 mention)
Cameron Bright (63rd place, 5 points, 1 mention)

Best New Artists

Here are the Top 10 first time entrants to the poll with overall rank:

  Rank    Performer
  11    William Moseley
  12    Liam Mower
  16    George Maguire
  18    Leon Cooke
  18    Skandar Keynes
  18    Taylor Lautner
  18    Tyler James Williams
  23    Chase Ellison
  25    James Lomas
  27    Adam Butcher

CURIOSITY: New artists tend to indicate who will win the poll the following year. Logan Lerman was 2003's BNA and went on to win in 2004, and Freddie Highmore was 2004's top poll debut.

CURIOSITY: Evidently this trend has to be broken this year - William Mosley's debut is also his last year of eligibility.
