Poll Stats, "What If", Fun Facts, and Trivia
Many thanks to Mediajock for all his hard work putting this very interesting information together!
Folks,
Another poll season is upon us. besides being just a chance to see how well our favorites did, this is a time of celebration of achievement for young talent and a highlight that, in one respect or another, all are winners.
So, to better measure this extraordinary success of 2005's best and brightest, let's run the numbers...
There were 90 votes cast for any of the 438 submitted nominees during the 11 days the poll was open. From these:
- 134 different performers received at least one of the 1323 points awarded.
From these:
- 45 received at least one first place vote.
From these:
- There was one clear cut top finisher but, again, all were winners.

Best New Artists
Here are the Top 10 first time entrants to the poll with overall rank:

CURIOSITY: Evidently this trend has to be broken this year - William Mosley's debut is also his last year of eligibility.
